I was a chauffer for a guy that owned 8 five-star hotels around the country. I drove a brand spanking new Special Edition Caddy (POS right off the factor floor). My boss owned a Z31 turbo. Being a groundpounder guy, I thought the 31 was a very luxurious car, especially when Bitchin Betty would talk to me. Well, my boss went and bought a TT as soon as it came out. I thought that it was odd looking. One day, the boss comes running. He had an emergency and needed to get to the airport ASAP. He throws me the keys to the Z and hops in. It was the first car that Ive ever driven that was happy at 140mph. I dropped him off at the airport and got to keep the car for the weekend. I retired back in 2000 and sold my groundpounder, and three 4x4 trucks. I bought a 240sx for $2000 for the very basic of transportation. The 240 was stripped and lowered. The handling was incredible. Took it on a 300 mile roadtrip and hated it. The seats were horrible, and there was no cruise control and the car topped out at 119. Saw a Z for sale at a car lot and test drove it. Not being a turbo, I didnt think it would be able to do much, but she still would run 140 happy. It was everything I liked about the 240sx and worlds more.
